Melbourne
Pauline is currently working as an Agile Coach/Junior Full Stack Developer at Beyond Essential Systems, working on health resource and supply chain mapping for the Asia Pacific region. She had her first dev role at Isobar Australia, where she encountered excellent mentorship as a junior.
Previous to web development, Pauline spent several years immersed in economic research at home in the United States, as well as in Bangladesh. Her work involved statistical programming to conduct analysis, which led to Pauline’s initial interest in computer science. After dabbling in night classes to gain a small foundation in code, she eventually decided to enrol in a full-time course with General Assembly.
She is happy to discuss strategies for breaking into the tech industry, as well as her personal growth experience as a developer, woman in tech, and career transitioner.
