Paul Dolman-Darrall
Chairman, Gamevy
Paul Dolman-DarrelI is the elected Chairman of Gamevy, a London based start-up. Gamevy is an employee owned, no bosses organisation that uses radical views on how the workplace should be to outdo traditional competition.
He is a keen observer of trends in business and the workplace and is also an organiser of Dare Festival’s UK cousin, Spark the Change, held in June 2014.
Paul started his first business at 9, selling ink cartridges to kids with fountain pens – and progressed to setting up a search engine business. Since selling that, he launched Banana Republic in Europe for Gap, and worked as IT Director for the world’s largest education business, Pearson.
Recently Paul has launched an education programme – VFQ – developed from scratch to become the British Computing Society’s standard for Agile. He is also an award winning private investor with great experience in funding innovative start-ups.
Paul spends his days coming up with business solutions; building new products with a love of the creative magic that happens with a group of people who are prepared to argue, work hard and use feedback to improve.
