Patryk Adamczyk RGD, a 16 year veteran in the field of Product, UX, and Visual Design, currently Senior Manager, Product Design at McAfee, a global leader in cybersecurity.

Spending most of his early career in the mobile space, Patryk designed every single colour OS release during his time at BlackBerry, then and led the design of Mozilla’s Firefox OS, with a major highlight being the creation of the Fira Sans typeface. After over a decade in the consumer electronic space, needing a change of pace and new prospectives, Patryk took on the role of Lead Instructor at General Assembly, co-creating the UX Immersive course, and still guest lecturing both in UX and Visual Design streams, helping hundreds of students transition to a new career in design. A lifelong learner, seeing how the role of a designer was evolving, Patryk then took on the challenge of being the Senior Product Manager, Mobile at PagerDuty to craft an approach in design from a business perspective. In his last role as Director of Design at one of Canada’s leading fin-tech startups, Borrowell, Patryk founded the design department, hired the entire team, and in turn, levelled up the user experience across Borrowell’s entire product portfolio.

Outside of work, when not preoccupied with fatherhood, he’s snapping photos or driving his sports car down back roads in the middle of the night. At times, all three converge.
