Patricia Chourio is a digital storyteller, communications professional and the founder of The World's Corner, a social enterprise that partners with women artisans around the world with a mission to help preserve traditional crafts and promote conscious consumerism. Born and raised in Venezuela, Patricia moved with her family to Atlanta, GA 15 years ago. She attended Kennesaw State University where she received a B.S in Communication/ Media Studies and a M.A in Integrated Global Communication. Her experience working for several non-profit organizations in SE Asia including UNICEF Cambodia and CARE International in Vietnam led her to launch her own social enterprise, which aims to support women artisans from ethnic minority groups around the world. She is a volunteer mentor for SCORE Atlanta, enjoys traveling, photography and is passionate about sustainability and slow fashion.
