Senior Manager, Project Management, Capital One

    Chicago

Paige Sampson is a Product Manager in the Horizontal M&A Group at Capital One in Chicago, IL. Paige is responsible for the flawless execution and delivery of Retail Partnership campaigns.

After graduating from University of Iowa, Paige’s started her career in the cable television industry. From there she began her 20+ year stint in the Financial services industry working for SPS Payments Systems, Associates Bank, Citigroup, HSBC and eventually Capital One. One of Paige’s strengths is her Relationship Network. She believes "who you know" is equally as important as "what you know".

In 2015 Paige was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer. As a working mother of 3, she knew this could not sideline her. She approached her breast cancer journey like a project with a due date of "1 year out". She followed the proper protocol and is now cancer free (knock on wood). During the course of her illness, she identified a need for support at work. By fate, she met Blanca Roman who was traveling down her own breast cancer path at the exact same time. These two women, along with Andrew Dwyer, created a Connections Group called mammUp! mammUp! is a way for women and men to connect and support one another during their own breast cancer "project". While mammUp! is still in its infancy they plan to sponsor women’s health events at Capital One in 2018.

Outside of Capital One, Paige lives in the northern suburbs with her husband and kids where she volunteers at her daughter’s school as well as church. She loves walking, yoga, wine tasting and doing dinners with friends.
