Ona Anicello is a UX Researcher at Facebook for the Platform and Marketplace team. Prior to that she worked for Microsoft’s Cloud & Enterprise Group, where she led the research efforts for new cloud computing products. For the last 15 years, she has worked in a variety of UX leadership and management roles, such as the Vice President of Mobile UX Research at JP Morgan Chase and the Director of UX Research for the Apollo Group. She also owned and ran Fifth Element Usability for a number of years and has an entrepreneurial spirit starting BEAN, an international social networking nonprofit. She is very involved in the UX community and driving the future of the UX discipline as President of UXPA Seattle and teaching in the HCDE Department at the University of Washington.
