Prior to joining Kano, Oliver taught for four years in inner-city London schools and is an Ambassador of the Teach First programme. He is a school governor and a regular contributor to the TES, Huffington Post, Telegraph and the Guardian and is the founder of a education charity which seeks to address inequity in opportunities for disadvantaged students (launching later this year).
