Growing up in Hawaii, Noa was the kind of kid who clipped Better Homes and Gardens for fun. After studying architecture and business at Stanford, he moved to New York City and started working in a high-end interior design firm. Frustrated with what he observed about the industry – that interior design had become more about markups and maximizing profits than making magical spaces for people – he quickly struck out on his own and launched a design practice.
