Nishan David

Co-Founder & Director, Bloodless

Sydney

Nishan David is passionate about unleashing the creativity of young Australians for good. He co-founded Bloodless (a creative collective working at the intersection of storytelling, design and social change) and Adappt (a social purpose app development program for young Australians) in 2013. With almost a decade of experience speaking to young people on behalf of organisations such as World Vision and Oxfam, Nishan continually seeks fresh ways to engage his generation with justice and equality. He can’t wait to see what happens when young upstart Australians begin channeling their courage, imagination and will to tackle the planet’s hairiest, scariest problems. He lives to help them make that happen – to help them make trouble, to give young rebels a cause.

In 2014, Nishan was featured as one of the Foundation for Young Australians’ inaugural fifteen Future Chasers, and in 2016 he was welcomed into Optus’ inaugural Future Maker cohort. He is currently a Westpac Future Leader Scholar at the University of Sydney, where he conducts research on transformative design and human rights. His work has been featured in Dumbo Feather, Vogue Australia, Pedestrian TV, Peppermint Magazine, Concrete Playground and The Renegade Collective.
