Nicholas Papadakis
Nicholas Papadakis is a RISD-trained, New York City-based, artist whose works have been exhibited in galleries and museums nationally.
His primary passion is in the never-ending pursuit of experimental, process-oriented painting combining new design fabrication technology with his own hand-excavated pigments.
Coming from a family tradition of science, engineering and the arts, Papadakis has an eye for, and a hand versed in, a significant range of mediums. As he puts it: 'I like to have broad working knowledge so that I may brainstorm intelligently with every Creative I meet".
His skills as a multidisciplinary arts professional have earned the attention of diverse commercial interests as well: interface consultant for software apps, co-creator of in-house design studios, commissions for national ad campaigns, branding for start-ups and designer of hip interiors.
