Nancy Johnston is the founder of Tengri (www.tengri.co.uk), a London-based lifestyle brand and social business. An influential force for sustainability in the luxury goods sector, Johnston is responsible for a powerful and disruptive business model, making positive change for good in the consumer supply chain, spanning fashion, textiles and interiors. Nancy, regularly noted as a 'woman in business to watch', was recognised as a future sustainability leader nominee by Sustainia, a global sustainability platform, which listed Tengri in the 2016 Sustainia100 Guide. Nancy was also presented with an Asian Women of Achievement Entrepreneur Award, and invited to the UN Convention of Biological Diversity in Mexico to take an unprecedented Business for Biodiversity pledge. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts & Manufacturing, member of the Impact Hub and Responsible Ecosystems Sourcing Platform and one of Grant Thornton’s 2017 100 Faces of a Vibrant Economy.
