A fashion, beauty and design junkie, Myka has always been enamored with beautiful things and making things beautiful. It’s what led her to Paris to study Fashion Marketing and Management and also what landed her in the marketing department at Diane VonFurstenberg in New York. The desire to move beyond clothing resulted in working as a trend forecaster and stylist – curating trends and creating beautiful environments for magazines and video sets. Eventually she landed in Europe where she spent several years before returning to her hometown of Atlanta.
Opening WAX is a combination of the things she’s loves and does best:
Creating the perfect space to bring beauty, energy and style into other people’s lives.
Myka graduated with a degree in Psychology from Spelman College in Atlanta, GA and continued her studies at Parsons School of Design in Paris and New York.
