Atlanta
Monet Spells is a User Experience Designer, product enthusiast, and avid optimist. She is interested in exploring the ways in which technology can be deeply integrated into our daily lives without disrupting meaningful people-to-people interactions.
Monet is a recent transplant to Atlanta and currently flexes her brain muscles at Georgia Institute of Technology, where she is pursuing a MS in Human-Computer Interaction. Her research interests are in the area of educational technology, especially initiatives that encourage women and underrepresented minorities to pursue design, tech, and computer science.
Before Atlanta, Monet lived in New York where she worked as a Product Manager at a successful startup. Monet has a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Wellesley College.
When she's not in front of a whiteboard, you can find her exploring Atlanta, drinking tea, or trying a new recipe.
