Moe Alkhafaji
Chief Technology Officer, CancerIQ
Moe Alkhafaji is pursuing his Ph.D. in computer science at the University of Chicago, where he received his MS in computer science. He earned his BS degree in computer science from the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign. Academically, Moe has taught several courses at Dominican University for a span of 4 years. Moe was a TA, as well as a co-instructor for several courses at the University of Chicago. He participated in designing and developing several courses for WGU including courses in database design and development, software engineering, and programming courses.
For 13 years, Moe has been working in the industry as a software engineer. In 2008, he co-founded a company called MedCPU, and after a successful series B milestone completion, Moe co-founded and is currently leading the technology effort at CancerIQ. Moe has extensive experience in several technology stacks from web frameworks to back-end technologies.
