My name is Mike Muya, originally from South Africa and now a permanent resident of the United States. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communications and over nine years of extensive professional experience as a graphic designer. I have had the great privilege of working with great brands over the years like James Hardie, Voices for Illinois Children, MedSpeed, Whirlpool, Chest Foundation, Lowe’s, and many others in the educational, medical, construction, legal, and nonprofit sectors.
In the last year I also had the privilege and opportunity to work for companies like Swift Smart Solutions, Jacobs & Clevenger, Freeosk, and Colman Brohan Davis as a freelancer. I have experience working with several different designing programs, and very well acquainted with After Effects and Premiere.
I know a little bit about a lot, however when I find something that I love and am good at, I spend much time investing in it. That is why my portfolio is filled with my passions: songwriting, music production, web, graphic design, marketing and business. All mediums have something in common: it is how I express and create. And I love every minute of it.
