Austin
Mike developed his first website in 2002, and before it was even finished he already knew his future was in code. Immediately after graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, he attempted his first startup which didn’t end up being the most successful of ventures, but served him well with many important lessons learned. Afterwards, he found himself working for various interactive marketing agencies such as Tribal DDB and Ansira. During that time he developed websites for clients such as the US Air Force, Pepsi, Travelocity, American Airlines, Arby’s, Dave & Buster’s, Nokia, and The Cheesecake Factory.
He currently resides in Austin and when he’s not working he uses any excuse to practice photography.
In recognition of his exemplary service in the classroom, Mike has been selected as a member of General Assembly's Distinguished Faculty program.
