Mike Burke is a founding member of the Westpac Ventures team in New Zealand, whose purpose is to ‘pioneer what’s next in banking’. Westpac Ventures are the entrepreneurial team that have WNZL were one of the first banks that utilised cloud, customer-facing AI, open API’s among other enabling technology for banks in New Zealand. They are also the team that have created many customer facing innovations such as CashNav, beContento, and Wes to name a few, with many more on the way. Mike spends his time identifying technology and customer trends for the future of banking and ensure they bring the right ones to life.
