    Michelle Ng

    Founder, Chopstixfix

    Hong Kong

Michelle Ng is a Brit-born, Penang and North London-raised, Chinese-Malaysian. Mealtimes are very important in her family and she was raised to appreciate all cuisines and to have a curious palate. She moved to Hong Kong in 2009 and after doing a fair amount of culinary exploration, started her blog Chopstixfix in 2010.

Chopstixfix was born out of a desire to put her vast collection of food photos to use, keep a log of her gluttony and as a fun way to help friends and family work out what they wanted to eat when they came to visit. Chopstixfix evolved to become Michelle's fairly serious but exciting hobby and creative outlet documenting restaurant visits, food-related activities and slapdash kitchen experiments. Aside from the blog, Michelle has also written for Sassy Hong Kong, Foodie Magazine, Cuvees and Haute Compass.
