Dr. Michael Tremmel received his PhD in Astronomy from the University of Washington in 2017 and is currently a National Science Foundation postdoctoral fellow at Yale University. Michael uses simulations performed on large supercomputers to study the evolution of galaxies and supermassive black holes. Michael has been an avid comic book reader and Marvel fan for most of his life. In his free time, Michael enjoys reading and watching sci-fi/fantasy books and movies, playing tabletop and videogames, and being a cat dad.
