Michael Newman has extensive experience and a strong background in the technology industry, having witnessed the explosive growth first hand at one of Austin’s fastest growing startups. He received his undergraduate degree in Business Management from The University of Texas at San Antonio, going on to receive his MBA from The University of the Incarnate Word.
He has a passion for propelling company culture towards a place which embodies the inclusive nature of innovation. Using his experience from customer facing positions, he has brought various philosophies internal to WP Engine in an effort to provide a better employee experience. As a Program Manager for Employee Experience he focuses on ways to attract, retain and engage talent in this competitive technology landscape.
