Atlanta

Michael Lennox is an Atlanta native known for his beloved Atlanta BeltLine-adjacent restaurant concepts Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall, Muchacho and Golden Eagle. Prior to his career as a restaurateur, Lennox practiced law in Atlanta, having returned to his hometown after college in Virginia and law school in North Carolina. Inspired by the redevelopment of the BeltLine and Atlanta's culinary scene, Lennox made his first foray into the industry in 2014 with Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall, which is situated on the BeltLine's Eastside Trail. Its laid-back, outdoor-oriented scene quickly made Ladybird a favorite for local Atlantans and tourists alike. Following Ladybird's success, Lennox opened sister restaurants Muchacho and Golden Eagle in the fall of 2017 to much acclaim. Housed in the heart of Atlanta's Reynoldstown neighborhood on the BeltLine, each space evokes a throwback aesthetic. With a nod to 70’s-era Venice Beach, Muchacho is a casual hangout and all-day place, while Golden Eagle's focus is classic cocktails and continental dishes served in a moody, vintage interior.
