Michael J. Rosenfeld is an Associate Professor of Sociology at Stanford. He studies couples, families, marriage, and divorce. He is interested in how technology affects the way couples meet. He is the author of many articles and the book, "The Age of Independence: Interracial Unions, Same-Sex Unions, and the Changing American Family." Rosenfeld is the principal investigator of a National Science Foundation funded longitudinal study of couples, "How Couples Meet and Stay Together."
