Michael is a Design Leader, Tech Strategist, and Educator from Brooklyn, New York. He's currently the Director of Design at Heady. He specializes in Design Leadership and management, Design Strategy, Process, and Operations, Inclusive Design and Accessibility, and Design Systems.

Michael has been an educator for more than five years with experience teaching at General Assembly, CareerFoundry, and CUNY. Michael is also the founder of Rita Lab, an educational community for creatives, technologists, designers, and future innovators at the intersection of career, creativity, and culture. The Rita Lab team is on a mission to make tech and design more diverse and inclusive by supporting diverse career seekers and promoting inclusive practices for technologists and designers.

Before Design Leadership and Design and Tech Education, Michael was a Front-end Developer, Visual Designer, then a Product/UX Designer and Strategist. All in all, he's been building digital products for over 10 years and has been loving every bit of it!
