As an avid pinner, Mia joined Pinterest in early 2013 as the Design Manager for the Product Design team. She believes in a collaborative approach to design, and loves to tackle big, systemic design problems. Prior to joining Pinterest, Mia led the Register design team at Square, where she helped turn a new small-business tool into a global product. Before that, she spent many years at IDEO designing and leading key initiatives with mobile and tech companies. When she’s not making stuff with pixels, she loves to make stuff with her hands—everything from homemade cookies to hand-bound books.
