Several years ago while on vacation in San Francisco, Melissa’s cousin told her to get into user experience design. He told her, "Your deep passion for design, plus your resolve to break things to make them better will make you a rockstar in UX." Determined to find her dream job, Melissa hit the ground running, reading everything UX-related she could get her hands on.
Since then she’s grown her skills and expanded her knowledge at General Assembly’s first UXD course in Washington, D.C. Earlier this year, Melissa started the UX department at Reingold, where she continues to design beautiful, usable experiences as a User Experience Designer.
Melissa holds a BA in Art History with, honors, from The George Washington University. When she isn't interviewing users and designing wireframes, she is travelhacking, mixing (and drinking) whiskey cocktails, reading, and DIYing—but rarely sleeping.
