Melissa is the co-founder of Vidcode, a startup formed at Startup Weekend EDU in January 2014. She is the technology lead for Vidcode and loves that her position allows her to combine her passion for code and advocacy for women in STEM on a daily basis. Before Vidcode, Melissa was a quantitative programmer for an equity trading desk where she first learned the power of software development in real-world applications. She is first and foremast known to her peers as a math nerd.
