    Melanie Wiesenthal is a Partner and Co-Creative Director at Deerfield, a boutique branding studio focused on retail, fashion and beauty. Melanie's experience working with both in-house creative teams like Victoria's Secret Beauty and Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Origins and Aveda has given her unique insight into how corporate design works. Melanie has also worked for award winning design firms Carbone Smolan Agency and The Valentine Group. In 2011, Melanie was nominated to the AIGA/NY Board of Directors and has since served as the Education Chair while producing nearly 40 lecture-based events, curated the popular Breakfast Club Series and has spoken at numerous conferences in the US and around the globe on design and design for sustainability. Melanie is a passionate design educator and in 2013 joined the faculty at the School of Visual Arts Masters in Branding program and previously taught studio classes at Parsons, the New School for Design, in graphic design, typography and packaging. Her work, both corporate and freelance, has been featured by The Art Director's Club, Print Magazine, Communication Arts, Graphis, Cooper Hewitt Design Museum, How Magazine and Graphic Design USA.
