Melanie Charlton is the Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Brllnt, a digital creative agency that helps clients find, build and share their brilliance. Brllnt's client list includes DC United and the top-ranked culinary school, L'Academie de Cuisine. She was recently recognized as one of FemTech's Powerful Woman Designers for 2016. She also co-founded Unleaded, a design & design thinking meet up that is building a community of creatives who collaborate at monthly events to improve social and business problems within the District. Before founding Brllnt, she was the creative director for a startup software company, Fiddlefly where she lead the UI/UX design of both the software product and creative services. Other design work included Weber Shandwick with accounts such as Pepsi, W.K. Kellogg Foundation, and the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation. She also led the design team at Population Systems International, and worked on Verizon and Firehouse subs accounts during her time at Erwin Penland, in Greenville, SC.
