Max Cantor

Born & raised in New York, Max embarked post-High School to journey across the country in search of enlightenment. His path meandered through Vermont, Cleveland, Los Angeles, and Massachusetts, and he came back home in 2014; not yet enlightened, but far wiser in the ways of design, software, and craft beers. He has developed software for Fortune 500's, B2B startups, and independent video game shops. After several years of remote consulting, he was incredibly grateful for the opportunity to apply his lifelong passion for education at General Assembly. When he's not teaching, he fences foil and épée, designs beautiful reference posters for developers and gamers, and works way harder than necessary on making mix CDs.
