Matt Short
WDI Instructor, General Assembly
Matt is an actor-mathematician-and-instructor-turned-programmer who loves spending his free time figuring out ways to make the lives of those around him better. He loves to investigate the talents of the people he knows, and find ways to better apply them.
He recently made the exciting switch from teaching mathematics in Georgia to programming in NYC, and joined General Assembly to continue pursuing his passion for teaching with his new love of programming. His experience developing with HappyFunCorp, a life of instruction, and his own experience at a computing immersive give him lots to draw on in the classroom.
When he's not spending time with his students, fellow instructors, and the staff at GA, he loves spending time with his family going on adventures.
