Mark has served as the Chief Operating Officer of MasterClass since July 2017 and a member of the board of directors of MasterClass since May of 2019. Mark is an active angel investor, advisor, and joined the board of directors of Hivemapper in April 2019. Prior to MasterClass, Mark founded Shelfari (sold to Amazon), Zoodles (sold to HTC), and Restore Health (sold to Zillion). He also has experience operating both subscription and location-based services through his roles at Rhapsody and Dash Navigation. Mark received his MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management in 2004. He attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for undergrad, receiving a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Systems Engineering.
