His experience includes leading offerings of equity in initial public offerings (IPOs), secondary equity offerings, pre-IPO and venture financings, Regulation D, Regulation S and Rule 144A offerings, exchange
offers, and other public and private equity and debt offerings, as well as cross-border M&A and investment transactions. Mark also counsels clients on a broad range of corporate, securities, and business-related matters, including corporate governance, Securities and
Exchange Commission reporting issues, and corporate structuring and
compliance. In addition, Mark frequently advises U.S. companies looking to expand their footprint in Hong Kong or Mainland China, as well as Asian
companies with cross-border investments, capital raising, and M&A. Mark is an active member of Akerman's Cannabis Practice, which provides
counsel to clients on the complex legal and business issues impacting companies with interests in the medical and adult-use cannabis industries.
