Mark joins the TechShop team as the General Manager after spending the last 16 years leading various operations for Dell Inc. He grew up in the Austin area, earning his BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas before going on to serve in the US Navy as an officer in the submarine force. He and Christine, his wife of 21 years, have two wonderful children who are both looking forward to spending time at the shop with their Dad.
Mark grew up around woodworking, his father was an avid craftsman, and he also enjoys tinkering with electronics, exploring micro-controllers, and slowly making his way through an ever growing "honey-do" list of home improvements.
