Miami
Marisa (she/they) is a data visualization designer and developer hailing from Oakland, California. Her work combines data science with graphic design, illustration, and other visual media to tell stories that move from understanding to action on policies and practices that shape inequality. She currently supports research institutes, community-based organizations, and city governments around the world working on issues of health equity and social justice. Marisa holds a BA in Public Health from UC Berkeley and an MS in Data Visualization from Parsons School of Design.
