Considered a pioneer in the Latin American video game industry, he is currently Director of Business Development for Emerging Markets in the worldwide headquarters of Electronic Arts in Silicon Valley, where he also worked as Director of Digital Revenue Development and Director of Development for Origin Business. He opened the Electronic Arts offices in Mexico and Latin America in 2006 and before, he co­founded companies such as the digital publishing and print media with magazines like Sputnik (Technology) and Atomix (Video Games), and initiatives such as the video game trade and consumer show Electronic Game Show, Latingamer, World Cybergames Mexico and the first Video Game Development contest in Mexico.

    He has been mentor and angel investor of the acceleration program 500startups in Silicon Valley and currently of Naranya Labs in Mexico and StartupChile in Chile. He is President of the Silicon Valley Chapter of the Global Network of Mexicans Living Abroad. MArio is also the author of the book: "Manage Your Passion: Latin America 2050, One Gamer At The Time" (2013). A seasoned speaker with more than 15 years of experience speaking about entrepreneurship and tech developing in emerging markets, Mario lives in San Francisco and has two daughters.
