Mariam Joan got her BA from Berklee College of Music and now works in Content Knowledge Graph on the Data Engineering Team at Netflix. After 8 years in publishing, where she achieved sales targets over $2M, worked with accounts such as Amazon, Best Buy, and then in academia working with professors from schools such as Johns Hopkins University, she made the switch to technology. After getting an MBA, during the transition, she enrolled and graduated from the UCLA Extension Full Stack Developer program in 2018, worked for two startups and now currently enrolled in the Udacity AI Python program to learn about neural networks.
