Maria joined the MODA team in April of 2016 with a creative spirit and a desire to produce true communication for the twenty-first century artist and human.
With expertise in branding, creative strategy, design systems, digital storytelling, integrated marketing campaigns and public relations; Maria leads an interdisciplinary role serving as MODA’s marketing and social media arm.
Prior to joining the MODA team, Maria’s work led her to visual and performing arts venues as well as marketing agencies across the South East. The Athens, GA native holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and mass communication with an advertising emphasis, a minor in cultural anthropology and a music business certificate from the University of Georgia’s acclaimed Grady College and Terry College of Business, where she graduated with honors.
Outside the museum, you’ll find her brewing Greek coffee, tending to her lemon tree, or at a show with her fiancé and friends.
