San Francisco

Mari Miyachi is a lifelong technologist with an interest in the alternative education space. After graduating with her computer science degree, she moved from Boston to San Francisco to embrace the tech industry head-on. She looks forward to teaching and learning in the GA environment.

Mari is currently a software engineer at Opower, developing mobile and web applications to promote energy efficiency. She maintains a food blog called I Dream of Sushi and enjoys yoga, snowboarding, and surfing.
