Maggie Epps
CRM Developer, AGH Strategies
Maggie Epps spent three years as a social worker in DC, most recently as a community mental health worker. While she loved being able to help people directly, she missed using her logic and math skills and hoped to have more of an impact at the systems level. After realizing that most non-profits struggle with finding good software solutions, she decided to go to an intensive coding program in California. She now works as a CRM Developer at AGH Strategies, a consultancy specializing in the open source, web-based Constituent Relationship Management software CiviCRM. She writes code in PHP every day, but she spends her free time learning Ruby and organizing others who are learning Ruby. In her free time, she rides her bike, pretends to craft and sew, and reads ridiculous steam-punk novels.
