Luke Shillabeer
Web Engineer, CareerLounge
Luke is a recent GA - Web Development Immersive graduate.
Luke was the kind of child who took apart chairs, toasters, televisions - anything he could get his hands on really. He couldn't put them back together, but that was a minor detail; he just wanted to know how things worked.
Over the last decade he's trained as a biological scientist, a bioinformatician (ask him what that means, we dare you) and most recently as a web-developer. Every step of the way he's found more and more ways to integrate technology into his projects, until finally realising the tech was the most fun component and running with that!
Currently Luke spends his time building in Ruby and Javascript, but has a love of Python from previously teaching it.
