Luke Leafgren teaches Arabic and is a dean at Harvard University. His job takes him all over campus, and he invented a portable standing desk called StandStand to allow him to stand wherever he works on his laptop. Over 1800 backers supported StandStand on Kickstarter, launching the company that Leafgren hopes will bring the health and productivity benefits of standing desks to a broader and more mobile audience.
