I'm currently a data scientist at ZipRecruiter, where I solve problems ranging from predicting the effects of marketing to doing deep analysis of user behavior to optimize out product. Before that, I worked on a big data analytics platform at JP Morgan Chase, where I built dataflows that analyzed the risk profile of millions of financial instruments per day. I got my BS in Computer Science from Columbia university, where I did a specialization in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. I'm excited to share my knowledge and experience with students in the data science course at General Assembly, and help them understand why data analysis can be a creative and exciting endeavor.
In this part-time course, students learn to build robust predictive models, test their validity, and clearly communicate resulting insights.
