Liz Swanson is the Program Manager for Best for Colorado - an initiative by the nonprofit, B Lab, with the mission of engaging all Colorado companies to measure and improve their impact on workers, communities, and the environment. With a robust background in sustainability management for large operations as well as one-on-one sustainability consulting with small businesses, Liz brings her knowledge and passion for environmental and social justice, to vision, plan and administer solutions for a more resilient society. Liz holds her MA from Naropa University in Environmental Leadership, and her BA in Peace and Conflict Resolution & Sociology. She is passionate about ‘humanizing’ the ecological crisis by helping to connect people to place, and believes empowering businesses to step up and take action holds the power to transition our economy to a more inclusive, life-giving, sustainable and balanced system.
