Denver
Elizabeth Endicott is a self-taught artist and work-at-home Mom. She spent her twenties traveling the world extensively and working seasonally in Antarctica, which influenced her and her work immeasurably. Before the arrival of her daughter three years ago, Elizabeth ran a program in the Santa Fe arts district which employed adults with intellectual disabilities and taught them creative job skills. After adjusting to life as a mother, Elizabeth founded Weird Birds in 2017 which she runs in her home studio whenever her daughter is sleeping.
Weird Birds is a one woman design studio making treasures for babes of all ages. While items include jewelry, illustration, and home goods, Weird Birds is best known for children’s items such as handmade dolls and stuffed animals. The dolls celebrate originality and inclusivity, and come in a diverse range of skin tones. Everything is one of a kind and incorporates reclaimed materials, as reducing impact to the environment is a top priority at Weird Birds. You can find Weird Birds stocked in shops throughout the Denver metro area, surrounding states, and in England!
