Liz Carlis
Liz Carlis is a teacher and artist currently living in Brooklyn, NY. She teaches education and creativity at the university level and as an artist works with recycled materials and textiles. In 2007, she founded1.by.liz where she makes clocks combining used bicycle gears with textiles and maps. In 2013, Liz began teaching for Etsy's Craft Entrepreneurship Program in NYC, empowering creative people in underserved communities to create pathways to entrepreneurship with Etsy. Liz is not an employee of Etsy.
