    Lisa Tawil joined ITVS in 2013 as the Director of Marketing, Publicity and Creative Services. In her first year, she managed the rebrand of the flagship series, Independent Lens, and has taken over 5 films to TCA Press Tour. Leading the creative and marketing teams for over 22 film broadcasts a year, she specializes in custom campaigns that highlight the range of topics while successfully maintaining brand identity. Prior to ITVS, Lisa was a part of the National Geographic team in Washington DC, where she worked on the consumer marketing and media strategy team for National Geographic Channel and Nat Geo WILD. In her time there, she developed the innovative marketing strategies and launched the top three series in the channel’s history. Prior to that, before her time at National Geographic, Lisa spent several years working at PBS as an Assistant Director of Marketing. She has also participated on the various judging panels for top industry marketing awards such as the Emmys, the Mark Awards and Promax, and has earned multiple awards for her promotional strategies and integrated marketing campaigns.
