Lisa Ammerman
Design Specialist, Arcadis
Lisa is an award-winning designer whose career has spanned decades. From being a pioneer with Photoshop in Atlanta, to creating the first animation to air on The Weather Channel (then generating the first 3D animation for the same network), to researching and rolling out a network transition from analog to digital, then SD to HD, her experience has provided the opportunity to be involved in a plethora of design strategies. Aesthetic principles, however, remain constant. As an "artist", she is inspired to nurture the creative potential in others. Lisa developed workshops for "Creativity in the Workplace", devised training plans and mentored junior designers, and teaches acrylic painting classes.
She attended Cooper School of Art and Bowling Green State University in Ohio, has a commercial art degree from West Shore Vocational School and a Visual Communications degree from The Art Institute of Atlanta.
