As the Associate Director of Labs and Head of Engineering of Shopee, Lei Lei built Shopee development team since its incubation period, created the Shopee service from ground up, and to date oversees all aspects of technical development of Shopee, including defining system architectures, modules, APIs, choosing technologies to use, hiring and guiding developers, setting up team structures, facilitating inter-team communications, and whatever it takes to moving Shopee forward.
Prior to Shopee, Lei Lei worked in various other projects in Sea Labs.
Before joining Sea Labs, Lei Lei was the Chief Technology Officer of Mozat Pte Ltd. He received both his Masters and Bachelors of Computer Science in the National University of Singapore.
