Additionally, he serves as a mentor for Techstars Chicago and the Latinx Incubator (an IHCC + 1871 partnership), and volunteers with LatinxVC to increase Latinx representation in venture capital.
Previously, Leandro was an associate with the Techstars Anywhere accelerator, led due diligence for the Tech Coast Angels (TCA) – one of the largest angel investment groups in the world, and helped build up San Diego’s startup ecosystem as MD of Sponsorships and event organizer for Startup San Diego. He graduated from Valparaiso University, grew up in IL, and is originally from Michoacán, Mexico.
