Laurent Le Pen is a French tech entrepreneur involved in the Telecom, Mobile Design and IoT industries. Laurent is the Founder & CEO of Omate – a wearable tech IoT startup established in 2013. He started his career in 2005 as a strategic buyer at Cellon (former Philips Mobile). Laurent is a 500startups alumnus who lives in Shenzhen – China since 2007. He has in-depth knowledge of advanced wireless technologies; electro-mechanical components and strategic alliances in the telecom industry.

Laurent is a prominent tech speaker from Mobile World Congress to hardware and overall IoT Tech events globally. He is the owner of the Wearable / IoT professional group on LinkedIn with over 28,000 members.
